Milbemax Chewable Tablets for puppies & small dogs 1 to 5kg (Single tablet)

Milbemax Chewable Tablets are a broad spectrum dewormer for puppies and small dogs with a body mass of 1 to 5 kg.

Treats and controls larval and adult stages of hookworms, roundworms and whipworms.
Treats and controls all stages of tapeworm infection.
Prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis) where concomitant treatment against cestodes is indicated. Prevents and treats Spirocercosis.

Directions for use:

Always read the packaging insert.
The minimum recommended dose rate is 0,5mg milbemycin oxime and 5mg praziquantel per kg body weight, administered as a single oral dose.

Depending on the body weight of the dog, practical dosing is as follows:

Milbemax Chewable Tablets should be administered with or after food for maximum efficacy.
Adult dogs should be treated at least 4 times per year.
Milbemax Chewable Tablets may be used in pregnant and lactating bitches and in breeding dogs.
Nursing bitches should be treated at the same time as their puppies.

Milbemax Chewable Tablets puppy deworming schedule is recommended at 6, 8, 10, 12 weeks and then monthly until 6 months old. In puppies weighing more than 500g, deworming can be started at 2 and 4 weeks of age with Milbemax Classic Puppy and Small Dog tablets.

For the Prevention of Heartworm (D. immitis)

In cases where heartworm disease prevention is used and at the same time treatment against tapeworm is required, Milbemax Chewable Tablets can be used in place of the monovalent product for the prevention of heartworm disease.
Milbemax Chewable Tablets should be administered monthly at 28 day intervals as per recommended dose.

For the Prevention and Treatment of Spirocercosis

Milbemax Chewable Tablets can be used in Spirocerca lupi-endemic areas for the prevention and treatment of Spirocerca infections.
