Ultrachoice 7 is used for vaccination of healthy cattle & sheep as an aid in preventing blackquarter caused by Clostridium chauvoei, malignant edema caused by C.septicum, black disease caused by C.perfrigens Type B,C & D. Ultrachoice 7 consist of killed, standardised cultures of C.chauvoei, C.septicum, C.novyi, C.sordellii and C.perfringens Type C and D. Immunity against C.perfringens Type B is provided by the beta toxoid of Type C and the epsilon toxoid of Type D, with a special, water-soluble adjuvant (StimugenTM).
