Ivomec Gold (Ivermectin) Injection (500ml)

Indications

• Internal Parasites:
  • Effective against various roundworm species, including:
    • Wireworm (Haemonchus placei)
    • Brown stomachworm (Ostertagia ostertagi)
    • Cattle bankruptworm (Cooperia spp.)
    • Hookworm (Bunostomum phlebotomum)
    • Nodular worm (Oesophagostomum radiatum)
    • Lungworm (Dictyocaulus viviparus)
    • Eyeworm (Thelazia spp.)
• External Parasites:
  • Kills sucking lice, biting lice, and mange mites.
  • Controls sand tampans for up to 3 days post-treatment.
  • Kills cattle screwworms present at the time of injection and protects against screwworm strike for 2 weeks after administration.
  • Controls blue ticks for up to 75 days.

Dosage and Administration

• Administer 1 mL per 50 kg body weight by subcutaneous injection only.

Warnings

• Cattle must not be slaughtered for human consumption within 105 days of the last treatment.
• Do not use in lactating cattle where milk or milk products are intended for human consumption.
• Avoid use in dairy cattle within 105 days before calving.
• Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.
• Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.

Precautions

• Do not reuse empty bottles.
• Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking while handling the product.
• Wash hands thoroughly after use.
• Vaccination against Clostridium infections (e.g., malignant oedema and black quarter) is strongly recommended.
• Store the bottle in its carton to protect from light.
