Indications
Panacur BS is indicated for the following purposes:

Cattle: Roundworm and lungworm remedy.
Sheep and goats: Roundworm, lungworm, and milk tapeworm remedy.
Horses and ostriches: Roundworm remedy.

Withdrawal Period and Warnings:
It is important to note the withdrawal periods and adhere to the following warnings:

Withdrawal Period: Follow the specified withdrawal periods for each species to ensure food safety.

• Shake well before use.
•  Ready-to-use. Avoid mixing or diluting with unspecified substances.
• Sheep must be inoculated against pulpy kidney (entero-toxaemia) before dosing.
• Keep Panacur BS away from foodstuffs.
• Dispose of empty containers according to local waste disposal regulations.
• Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals.
• In case of suspected failure, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

Directions for Use

1. Cattle and Horses: Always refer to packing insert.

• Cattle: Administer 1 ml per 10 kg body mass (5 mg/kg).
• Horses: Administer 2 ml per 10 kg body mass (10 mg/kg).

2. Sheep and Goats: Always refer to packing insert.

• For round- and lungworms: Administer 1 ml per 10 kg body mass (5 mg/kg).
• For milk tapeworm: Administer 1 ml per 5 kg body mass (10 mg/kg).
• Double the dosage and halve the number of doses when treating for milk tapeworm.

3. Ostriches: Always refer to packing insert

• Administer 1.5 ml per 5 kg body mass.

Efficacy: Panacur BS, at the recommended dosage, has shown high efficacy against various roundworm species in horses (fenbendazole) including bloodworms (large strongyles), redworms (small strongyles), whipworms (pinworm), ascarids, and stomach worms (Habronema majus). This anthelmintic may also be effective against other species. For more specific information, consult your veterinarian.
