UltraChoice 7 Vaccine for Cattle and Sheep (100ml)

UltraChoice 7 Vaccine is a clostridial vaccine for cattle and sheep, formulated to aid in the prevention of black quarter, malignant oedema, black disease, gas gangrene, enterotoxaemia and enteritis caused by key Clostridium species. It is administered by subcutaneous injection and forms part of a comprehensive herd and flock health management programme.

Storage Instructions

• Store between 2°C and 7°C.
• Do not freeze.
• Protect from direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
• Use entire contents when first opened.
• Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.

UltraChoice 7 is supplied through veterinary channels for incorporation into herd and flock preventative health programmes. Veterinarians should assess disease risk, vaccination schedules and management practices to optimise protection against clostridial diseases.

• Use only as directed.
• Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
• As with all vaccines, hypersensitivity or anaphylactic reactions may occur. Appropriate emergency treatment, including adrenaline, should be available.
• Transient swelling may occur at the injection site.
• Milk production may be reduced for up to six days following vaccination in cows.
• Sterilised syringes and needles should be used. Do not sterilise equipment with chemical disinfectants that may inactivate the vaccine.
• Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a wide variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of numerous factors. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.
