DESCRIPTION
Coliprim is a broad-spectrum antibiotic designed to treat secondary infections in chickens, pigs, and calves caused by various gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including E. coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Klebsiella, Streptococci, Staphylococci, Corynebacteria, and Clostridia. It is available in the form of a medicated water, which should be the only water source for animals during the treatment period. This antibiotic is effective against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, making it a versatile option.
Colprim is intended for use in chickens, pigs, and calves to treat secondary infections caused by various gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Coliprim is to be used only as directed by a veterinarian. Chickens should be given medicated drinking water containing 1 ml of Colprim per litre of water daily for five consecutive days. Pigs and calves should be given medicated drinking water or milk containing 1 ml of Colprim for each 8 kg of body weight daily for five consecutive days. Ensure there is an adequate supply of medicated drinking water for all animals and stimulate their thirst by withholding regular drinking water for 1-2 hours before offering medicated water.
Store Coliprim in a cool, dark room below 25 °C.
