Exspot Spot-on for Dogs (2 x 1ml)

• Target Species: Dogs and puppies from 2 weeks of age.
• Pest Control: Kills and controls fleas, ticks (kennel ticks/brown dog ticks), and flies.

Directions for Use

1. Preparation:
   • Remove the plastic ampoule from the packaging and cut at the neck to open.
2. Application:
   • Part the dog’s coat between the shoulder blades and on the tips of the ears.
   • Squeeze the solution directly onto the skin; do not rub into the fur as this can reduce efficacy.
3. Dosage:
   • For dogs weighing up to 15 kg (e.g., Cocker Spaniel): Apply 1 ampoule (1 mL) between the shoulder blades and on the ears.
   • For dogs over 15 kg: Apply 2 ampoules (2 x 1 mL)—one between the shoulder blades and one at the base of the tail.

Frequency of Use

Exspot Spot-on provides protection for over 4 weeks. In cases of severe infestation, reapply after 7 days. If your dog becomes very wet (e.g., after swimming or bathing), reapplication may be necessary, but still adhere to the 7-day limit.

Storage Instructions

• Store at or below 25°C.
• Keep away from food and feed.

Warnings

• Toxicity: Do not use on cats as Exspot is toxic to them.
• Age Restriction: Not for use on puppies less than 2 weeks old.
• Environmental Hazard: Dangerous to fish; avoid contamination of water sources.
• Swimming Restriction: Do not allow treated animals to swim for 12 hours post-treatment.
• Child Safety: Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.

Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes; wash hands immediately after use.
• Prevent contamination of food, drinking water, and utensils.
• Do not handle the application area for 3 to 6 hours after treatment.
• If treating multiple dogs, wear gloves to protect your hands.
• If minor skin irritation occurs, bathe the dog with a mild shampoo (avoid insecticidal shampoos).
• Prevent cats from grooming treated dogs; separate if necessary and consult a veterinarian
