Kyro-Quick Stain Set (3x 500ml)

The Kyro-Quick Stain Set is a rapid staining system used for blood differential counts and general cytology. It produces staining results similar to Wright’s stain, but with a much faster staining procedure.

The set is suitable for the rapid staining of prepared smears prior to examination under a microscope.

Uses

• Blood differential counts
• General cytology
• Rapid staining of blood and cytology smears
• Preparation of stained slides for microscopic examination

Directions for Use

You will need 3 staining jars or wash bottles, with each solution kept in a separate container.

1. Dip or wash the dried smear in the Fixative Solution 4–5 times, then rinse with gently running water.
2. Dip or wash the slide in Solution 1 (Red), then rinse with water.
3. Dip or wash the slide in Solution 2 (Blue), then rinse with water.
4. Allow the slide to dry before examining it under a microscope.

Important: Replace the solutions when poor staining begins to occur, as this may indicate that contamination has taken place.
