Milbemax tablets contain milbemycin, a nematocide, inhibiting invertebrate neurotransmission leading to paralyses of gastro-intestinal nematodes and their subsequent expulsion. Praziquantel, a cestocide, interferes with muscular calcium metabolism of cestodes, leading to muscular contraction in these parasites and their expulsion or death.
